The Makkah Buildex 2026 exhibition, which concluded this week, served as a key platform supporting the construction and real estate sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Organised by the Makkah Chamber, the expo featured broad participation from national and international companies, enhancing integration across construction supply chains and opening direct channels between investors, developers, and suppliers.
It stimulated investment activity by showcasing real estate development opportunities and modern building materials and engineering technologies, thus strengthening the Makkah market's attractiveness and facilitating strategic partnerships, said the organisers.
The event revitalised commercial activity across contracting, building materials, engineering services, hospitality and transport, boosting demand for local products and encouraging SMEs to integrate into major project supply chains.
The exhibition also provided a platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing innovations in smart construction and project management, supporting knowledge transfer and promoting solutions that reduce costs and increase productivity, they added.-TradeArabia News Service
