A medical equipment facility
FTS Cleanrooms, a turnkey cleanroom design, manufacturing and validation firm, has secured a contract to design and build a 350 sq m cleanroom facility for a medical device facility in Dammam.
The facility will be built to ISO 7 and ISO 8 classifications, including a dedicated ISO 9 CNC area, to support the manufacturing of ELISA & Diagnostic kits under controlled environmental conditions.
ELISA & diagnostic kit manufacturing requires tightly controlled temperature, humidity, and particulate conditions to maintain consistent product quality and regulatory compliance across every production batch.
Meeting those conditions depends on a facility engineered specifically for that level of control, from airflow design through to final validation.
Delivering a classified facility in Saudi Arabia carries its own set of demands, from local regulatory approvals to coordinating logistics and material supply for a precision build. FTS Cleanrooms' own office in Saudi Arabia supports that work directly, allowing the same engineering standard applied across its UAE projects to carry through on the ground in the kingdom.
The project reflects the engineering team's experience and expertise in delivering classified environments for manufacturing industries that require precision at this scale and adds to the company's expanding footprint in Saudi Arabia's medical device manufacturing sector. It builds on FTS Cleanrooms' existing portfolio of projects across the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and industrial sectors of the GCC region.—TradeArabia News Service
