Engel & Völkers Middle East has launched the Engel & Völkers Search app within ChatGPT, marking an important advancement in how clients discover and explore real estate opportunities.

Engel & Völkers Middle East becomes the first UAE real estate brokerage to bring property search directly to ChatGPT, it said.

The integration introduces a more intuitive and conversational way to search for property. Instead of navigating multiple filters, search fields, and property platforms, users can simply describe what they are looking for in natural language. ChatGPT can then present relevant Engel & Völkers listings through structured search results, interactive maps and detailed property information, all within the conversation.

Users can specify requirements such as location, budget, property type, number of bedrooms, preferred features, lifestyle priorities, and investment objectives. A client could, for example, request a waterfront residence suitable for a family, a modern apartment close to key business districts, or a property with strong long-term investment potential. Users can then refine their preferences, compare available options, and explore alternatives through follow-up questions.

The launch comes as artificial intelligence rapidly transforms how consumers search for information, compare products, and make important decisions. Property discovery is increasingly moving beyond traditional keyword searches towards more personalized, contextual conversations. Engel & Völkers’ presence within ChatGPT enables the brand to engage clients earlier in their property journey and provide a more seamless path from initial interest to professional advice.

In the UAE real estate sector, where demand is driven by a highly diverse, international audience, conversational search offers particular value. Buyers and investors often approach the market with a combination of financial, lifestyle, and location requirements that cannot always be captured through standard filters. AI-powered discovery allows these requirements to be expressed more naturally, helping users identify relevant opportunities more easily and efficiently, the company said.

“Artificial intelligence is reshaping how clients discover, compare and evaluate property. This development allows us to offer a simpler and more intuitive starting point for the property journey while maintaining the trusted, personal advisory that defines Engel & Völkers,” said Diana Dzaka Bico, Chief Marketing Officer, Engel & Völkers Middle East.

“Our objective is not to replace the expertise and human understanding behind an important real estate decision. It is to use technology to remove friction, improve access to relevant information, and connect clients with the right opportunities more efficiently. By combining intelligent digital tools with strong local market knowledge, we can provide a more seamless, informed and personalized experience.”

The new search experience also creates an additional discovery channel for property owners and developers represented by Engel & Völkers. As search behaviour continues to evolve, listings can reach audiences within the AI-powered environments they increasingly use to research destinations, assess investment opportunities and plan major life decisions. - TradeArabia News Service
