Italian electrical systems manufacturer Vimar has supplied its Eikon Exé wiring series for the newly opened Raffles Jeddah, expanding its presence in the Middle East’s luxury hospitality sector.
The dual-tower property, located on the city’s Corniche Road overlooking the Red Sea, was designed by international firm DSA Architects. The facility boasts 182 rooms and suites, 120 apartments with private terraces, three restaurants, and an extensive spa with indoor and outdoor pools. The residences, ranging from three to five bedrooms, combine elegance, privacy and comfort, offering generous spaces and state-of-the-art amenities designed for an exclusive lifestyle.
The hotel’s contemporary design blends innovation with the rich local heritage through traditional architectural elements such as mashrabiyas, decorative screens that offer high thermal insulation performance.
Vimar provided customised Eikon Exé control systems in polished nickel with white finishes throughout the iconic luxury hospitality development, which also houses three restaurants and a full-service spa.
Eikon Exé is a premium range of luxury wiring devices, cover plates, light switches, and integrated home-automation controls. Designed for high-end residential and commercial projects, such as luxury hotels, residences, and private villas, it combines architectural aesthetic design with smart technology.
“A perfect blend of technological precision and craftsmanship, available in various prestigious materials and finishes, from stone and metal to glass, the Eikon Exé series in polished nickel with traditional white controls integrates seamlessly into the project,” says a spokesman for Vimar. “It creates reflections and a mirror-like brilliance that lend timeless elegance and sophisticated charm to the interiors.
“With more than 200 functions available across international product standards, and with its different control options including traditional, Vintage, Flat and Tondo, Eikon Exé can offer numerous solutions for system customisation, striking the perfect balance between aesthetics, technology and sustainability.”
The installation comes as Vimar steps up its expansion across the region. The company recently signed a partnership agreement with Marriott International to supply wiring devices and room control accessories across its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) portfolio.
