The King Salman International Airport in Riyadh has shortlisted three international contractor teams for early contractor involvement (ECI) work on Terminal 6 as part of the $30 billion airport development programme.

These are consortium of UCC Holding and Consolidated Contractors; Webuild with Al Gihaz Holding and TAV Construction as well as PowerChina with MBL Infrastructure.

The six-month ECI phase will lead to the selection of a contractor for the Terminal 6 project, said the statement from King Salman International Airport. 

Once completed, the terminal will be able to boost its capacity to handle an additional 40 million passengers per year ahead of Expo 2030 in Riyadh, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
