Work is moving at a steady pace on the King Abdulaziz Road underpass in Riyadh with 88% of the excavation works already completed, said Sports Boulevard Foundation (SBF), which is managing the ongoing underpass construction work.

It is designed to provide continuous-flow traffic underground, allowing the massive 135 km-long Sports Boulevard park, cycling tracks, and pedestrian greenways to safely cross over the vehicle lanes seamlessly.

This comes as part of the kingdom’s ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity between project destinations and improve mobility along Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road.
