Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind The Red Sea and AMAALA, has announced the launch of ADRENA, a new adventure and entertainment district offering a wide range of land- and water-based activities in a natural coastal setting.
Located near Shura Island, ADRENA will be operated by Red Sea Sports and Entertainment Company, which also manages WAMA, Galaxea, and Akun.
The new leisure destination will cater to visitors from across The Red Sea destination and beyond offering high-energy experiences with relaxed beachfront leisure.
Facilities include Saudi Arabia’s longest saltwater surf pool at 215 m, producing customisable waves up to 2.1-m high, a wakeboarding lake, snorkel trails, and a 6-m-deep diving pool.
The visitors will also get to enjoy a skatepark, BMX pump track, beach sports courts, a floating inflatable obstacle course, a children’s waterplay area, an overwater zip line, and a 10-m “slip ‘n’ fly” slide.
Beyond adventure sports, ADRENA features a vibrant social hub with a beach club, live music, South American cuisine, curated mocktails, and an infinity pool overlooking Red Sea sunsets.
John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, said: “Our unique adventure and entertainment district isn’t just about offering thrilling experiences, it’s about embodying the freedom of a coastal lifestyle – the energy, the community, the connection with nature.”
Designed with accessibility in mind, many pools offer zero-depth entry, and activities are adaptable for guests with mobility needs, he explained.
The Red Sea destination, which welcomed its first guests in 2023, now includes nine hotels and is accessible via Red Sea International Airport.
